VAMPS & TRAMPS POLE PARTY: October Rust edition

Welcome to all (Gothicly inclined or not) to a dreamy dance party at dusk. 

How it works: We will have a Spiralhouse Collective style sign up to perform to the album (sign up as a solo, duo or group!!). At 7 we will start the album, if you are in the audience, please bring tips as you are able, to bless the performers with and thank them for their expression and creation! 

After the album performance, we’ll have a DJ play some goth nite tunes we can all dance to! Dance party time til 10! 

Show up at 630 if you want to sign up to perform.

We have spots for 10 performers this edition for Type O Negative’s October Rust album. (I’m skipping spoken word tracks and Red Water because it’s depressing, unless the audience demands it!) Performers will be chosen at random as we play the album in order! You do not get to choose your song. 

Things to consider:

-please be considerate of our dance floor, this is the event to wear your vinyl pleasers to, not the big stompy goth boots. Or go shoeless in your fishnets!

-No performance experience is necessary, I created this as a casual gothic pole night, emphasis on the party and less on performance. But we do love performing for our friends! If you are going to perform using a pole, pole experience is expected. All performers will sign a liability waiver prior to performing. 

-Be considerate and respectful of our poles. Please only use the poles responsibly, no jewelry or lotions. This is not the time to teach your friends. If you’re not already a poler, consider coming to class before this event if you’d like to use the poles.
